This is great; thank you! There are some things that I'd like to be able to change, although they're mostly cosmetic. The main option that I'd love to see is the ability to automatically fetch the cliptext from somewhere else on the page, (identified with an id parameter), rather than having to repeat the text in the cliptext. Thanks!

Also, not sure if this is exactly a bug or a requested feature, but while the button *size* can be changed with width and height, I can't change its aspect ratio from 2:1, so as to allow longer button captions.

Hello, Thanks for the script, works great! I was wondering if there is a similar process for pasting; whereas, instead of pressing ctrl+v to paste, there would be a flash button. Once the button is clicked on, it paste copied text into a specified field.

LCMButton works fine with static text. But how would you change the demo so that if someone types in the textfield/textfield2 boxes, then the Copy button copies the changed text?

This is a great piece of code and was a snap to implement. However, I'm having huge problems getting it to work well in IE8. Older version (ie6) work fine, as does IE9 and all versions of Firefox I've tried. But IE8 loads the page extremely slowly, especially if there are multiple calls 'Copy' buttons on the page. Each button seems to take a few seconds, so a page with 20 or more buttons takes minutes to load. Any ideas? I'll gladly donate for a solution.

I found it very good and useful, i even developed a plugin for wordpress making it easy to use for bloggers: http://puzzlersworld.com/wordpress-copy-to-clipboard-plugin/
